smile to the sun =)

Dear diary,

i've been sleeping soundlessly for days now (haha) because of the fact that my visa is ready but i haven't collected it yet. the anxiety of it being rejected is sooooo unbearable. that's a nightmare. seriously.

so, yep, i went to wisma mca today with soraya to pick it up =D

Alhamdulillah, everything is good. all the original documents are in the envelope.. excited! huhu. im overwhelmingly happy!! my smile is as broad as the ocean. haha. fine, im suck at comparison.

and ohhh!! we walked (read : by feet) to klcc..!! went up to level 9 to meet en.R but he was in a meeting. he's always in a meeting, i wonder why. allowance tak naik2 pon, hurmmm. hehehe.

hooo.. for the third time, i blurted "EDU" at the clerk instead of "ESU", and for the third time also, she gave me this one weird stare like she was reading "im a maniac" on my forehead. grrr!

anyhoow.. we met en.Z and he's funny ok!! i remember the first time we saw him at college. he's new and was so quiet. he didn't speak a word in fact. en.R did all the talking. so we went like, "gee.. i hope he wont last" hahaha.

after that, we headed straight to Kopetro to submit our passport. and guess what! i received a complimentary cabin bag (lalala~). god, it was embarrassing ok, having to drag it all the way to subang by train. luckily, i remembered to don my thick skin today =p

here are some of the pics we took :

*spotted*

and this arrived today as well. now im torn between the kopetro bag and this bag. wahah, the answer is so obvious, isn't it?

hokayh, now i can snore 0.0

touching . indeed

Dear diary,

this may be long to read, but DO spare a minute or so and ponder.

it's in my inbox, so why not share it, right? A very interesting story, indeed. i got hot tears running down the cheeks as i reached the end.

"There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods, but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.

As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile, only to see his sister watching!

Fatima had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, ' Fatima , let's wash the dishes.' But Fatima said, 'Grandma, Ahmed told me he wanted to help in the kitchen.' Then she whispered to him, 'Remember the duck?' So Ahmed did the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, 'I'm sorry but I need Fatima to help make supper.' Fatima just smiled and said, 'Well, that's all right because Ahmed told me he wanted to help.' She whispered again, 'Remember the duck?' So Fatima went fishing and Ahmed stayed to help.

After several days of Ahmed doing both his chores and Fatima 's, he finally couldn't stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck. Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, 'Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Fatima make a slave of you.'

Thought for the day and every day thereafter? Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... and the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc).. whatever it is... You need to know that Allah was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing. He has seen your whole life. He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.

The great thing about Allah is that when you ask for forgiveness, He not only forgives you, but He forgets. It is by Allah's grace and mercy that we are saved.

Go ahead and make a difference in someone's life today. Share this with a friend and always remember: Allah is at the window!

=)

damansara : we came, we shopped, we left

Dear diary,

ikea and OU seem so far away now that we've moved to shah alam. hokayh2, we've only added a couple of extra kilometres but stillllL........ with the increasing amount of cars we have to overtake and a worse congestion to face (plus rm1.10 for a toll which oddly stood between subang jaya n shah alam) , it does fell like a country suddenly appears between us, parting us. erghhhhhhhh.

my mum is never a fan of ikea, actually albeit the good quality of the products and the modern designs which mesmerize mostly us teenagers. she's the kind who would definitely go for the classical look of big bulky piece of furnitue, with some english or italian touch, walnut or oak and the likes.

anywayyy, the new catalogue which we received twice features exactly what my mum was looking for, a shoerack and rack for the pantry. they came with nice price tags too. a great bargain!! so yep, we went there in the morning.

picked up a few things, wrote measurements on the paper, calculated and recalculated just to find, to my dismay, that the one rack we wanted was temporarily out of stock. but whyy?? why THAT rackkk? can i burn ikea pleaseeee? can i sue themm?? errgghhh it was so frustrating taw.

+mama in action+

overly disappointed, we made our way to one utama since we were in damansara already.

forever 21 is having a biiiggggg hugeeeee sale!!!! i went in without wanting to go back out. it was heavenn!! the atmosphere was soo therapeutic which sucks out the depression in you. oh, have i told you that everything was at least t 30% off!!! it was just sooo perfect as i haven't been shopping for quite some time now... except for the bag i bought with yasirah the other day.. and, the bag i got online for nearly half the original price.. err, and the shawl from min's friend.. and, the jelly flats which are so adorable.. and.. anyway, yep, haven't been shopping for awhile that i just need to buy something, anything.

left ou early cuz somebody was expecting us at home at 4. anyway, here's my catch :

i got this.. for almost a quarter of the original price.. am so loving it. im thinking of wearing it for zatey's dinner on friday. let's see if i can pull a decent look in it.

and these..

the melody melts me instantly when i first listened to the song... so fairy tale -ish and sweet. without fail, i feel like im living in a world where problem is not a noun, happiness is not just a word. a place where everything is like a bed of roses.

Nando's and KLIA

Dear diary,

i went to buka puasa with min and wan at sacc mall. it was fulllL, packed, laden with people walking and strolling down the pathway, trying shoes on, trying the songkok on, taking off the baju melayu, rummaging through piles and piles of baju kurung (haha) , and u can imagine the rest. we had nando's but the service was so dodgy that we got our food late. it was starving ok, cudnt they understand us?. but i bet they don't fancy me eating before they do.

anyhow, around 9 oclock, zul picked me up and we headed to klia to send laila off. she'll be going to nottingham. but i bet she wud be in london more than notts will ever see her.. hee =P godd im not jealous, not a chance (huk huk)

didn't know shiqa is going to City until i reached the airport. glad i met her before she left =)

+alright people, im leaving.see u guys later.ahaha+perasan+

p/s : I was so exhausted. I forgot to wish milo her birthday. hence, im taking this opportunity to wish her a great and happy 19th. i promise i'll remember next year. hee~

haisshhh.. somebody left his spectacles at nando's and i have to go back there tomorrow...

one down!!

Dear diary,

i was at sunway pyramid the whole day, hunting for a laptop.

goshhhhh, there were so many lappies and it was really really hard to decide. we went from one shop to another, nodding and agreeing to whatever the sale persons mumbled. seriously, these people were saying nasty things bout their competitors to convince the customers. come on la. we're not that stupid.

luckily i had my dad along with me, who is quite a computer freak (in a good way ok). he just loves computer stuffs. he kinda interrogated the sale people and it was fun to see them making fool of themselves, by talking rubbish and by sounding rather shallow. no offense to the all the good, great salepersons out there.. =P

anywayyyyy, we were finally down to 2 laptops (wuuuhoooo) and man, it was way harder to choose than u can ever imagine.

i found this asus f80s first, and was head over heels for it when suddenly my dad showed this acer 4930. both have similar specs and about the same price. dangggg!! (god please take one awayyy and make it easiear for me...) i couldn't make up my mind and it felt like hours before my hand moved on its own towards the asus and i went "thisss!"...

wahahhaha. fine2 i exaggerate. well, here's my baby anyway.

it's got a fingerprint detection thingy and also a face recognition thingy which is soooooo cooolll i tell u.. come and try them urselves. heee~ so high tech yet so menyusahkan. abso-bloody-lutely "great".. =P heheeh

i'ma play around with this baby now and see what else has it got in it. i'll pen in some more later aite?

+ i love my camera, i love my phone +

HP. go figure!

Dear diary,

I've been wanting to write something to you, but nothing really comes out, or they always pop up at the wrong time.

you know, its really hard to start something. however, once u've passed that first stage, the momentum will just push u through and well, after that is just a piece of cake. that's what i think about blogging, btw. ahahha.

anyway, ive been reading a lot of harry potter lately. yea yea i know its out-of-date but what can i do, harry potter is a legend, haha (although never in flesh). the 6th book, the Half-blood Price its quite amazing, i daresay. I've been spending hours every now and then, which is shockingly enough to leave me wandering in the peculiar realm of magical creatures and witches (and wizards too of course, pardon me for sounding feminist. hehe). the amount of time i spend increases by day, still. =P

so.. what are u waiting for now? go grab one for yourself and prepare for a bucket full of magical experiences you'll never forget (ha ha, i know i know.. and u're right) =D

anyhow.. looking at the speed i'm reading.. i think i'll be moving on to the next book in no time..

and.....

ooohh.eemmm.geee!! the movie is coming out soon!! heeee~ seronoknye! hope i still have every detail in mind when watching it later on, or i'll just fall into the same group as half of those in the cinema who just watch harry potter helplessly and claim themselves to be a die hard fan. lalala~

here, have a look at the trailer my dear diary,

now, i better go get back to my hero.. toodles!~

Dear diary,

ouh-kay. the title does not relate to anything i've got to write here. honestly, it's just some gibberish i picked up along the way. tee-hee~
